The Alabama Council for Developmental Disabilities is dedicated to improving the lives of those with developmental disabilities through advocacy, capacity building and systems change. The United Way of Northwest Alabama helps fund Arc of the Shoals by promoting health and independence. The United Way has helped people with disabilities achieve their potential and maintain independent and healthy lives. The United Way also provides health related services for the working poor, indigent, and underserved in our community.
